    Description

    Description:

    • Loading and transporting materials to work locations.
    • Operate various hand and power tools and machinery such as backhoe, trencher, skid steer, directional bore, ploughCAT.
    • Perform basic maintenance on equipment.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols at the work site and promptly report any violations to the supervisor.
    • Engage in groundwork, which involves digging trenches and clearing sites.
    • Clean and prepare the work area.
    • Install markers, cones, barricades, and signal vehicles to manage traffic.

    Occasional overnight travel may be necessary for this role.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • A valid 1A driver's license is mandatory.
    • Prior experience operating equipment like backhoe, track hoe, trencher, directional bore, etc., would be beneficial.
    • At least one year of experience securely tying down equipment.
    • Willingness to travel out of town as needed, including weekdays and weekends.
    • Capability to handle heavy tools and machinery.
    • Excellent situational awareness, particularly when handling trucks and heavy equipment.
    • Able to lift around 50 lbs. and work in a physically challenging setting.
    • This role is classified as safety-sensitive; all new recruits must undergo pre-access drug and alcohol screening.
