Work Arrangements:

We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately September 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.

Equitable Life is growing We are looking for a Human Resources Analyst to join our Human Resources team


The Human Resources Analyst will support HR data management, compensation reporting, HR team process documentation, HR project management support, and HRIS configuration and administration.

What you will be doing:

Data Analytics

  • Support Sr. HR Analysts in completing the data compilation and calculations for our annual compensation programs including salary adjustments, variable compensation (bonus) process, and annual company budgeting
  • Automated creation of employee total compensation statements several times per year for approximately 1000 employees and distribute electronically
  • Assist with preparing data for industry salary surveys and doing comparisons of survey results with our company data
  • Support talent review program by compiling and analyzing spreadsheets and producing official summary reports
  • Support the annual Employee Engagement Survey process by uploading company data to the vendor system, creating and distributing reports, and supporting/training managers in the use of the system
  • 12 year goal of creating comprehensive Company People Data Dashboards, and HR Team Dashboards to enable datainformed business decision making
Project Management

  • Support management of all projects in the HR team project portfolio, and assist all roles in HR with process documentation and development of accessible repository for team knowledge
  • Research, test, and conduct training on process improvements and technology tools to support continuous improvement of HR processes
Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administration

  • Help configure, improve, and maintain our HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) modules which capture and facilitate our employee data and learning, applicant tracking system (ATS) for hiring, and payroll processing.

What you will bring:


  • Post Secondary Education completed in business, HR, mathematics, computer science, or a technology program
  • Experience or expertise in some or all of the following: MS 365 Suite, advanced Excel/VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, Birst, other Data Modelling/Analytics tools
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) would be an asset but is not required
  • Technical, analytical, strong problemsolving ability, excellent organization and documentation skills, ability to prioritize competing demands, strong collaboration and communication skills
  • High level of integrity with a strong sense of confidentiality and privacy
