Position duties:


Perform theoretical analysis for analyzing the regret of finite memory controllers for partially observable Markov decision problems (POMDPs) using Thompson sampling with dynamic episodes (TSDE).


Qualifications:

The applicant must be familiar with the recent results on finite memory controllers for POMDPs and the TSDE algorithm.
