Job Summary

Provide administrative support for the Microsoft Power Platform, IBM Jazz and other custom developed in-house solutions. Participate in the planning, coordination, configuration, patching, and testing of these platforms and solutions.


Job Description:


Key Accountabilities:

  • Support, monitor and maintain platforms (IBM Jazz, Microsoft Power Platform, Nintex).
  • Support, monitor and maintain inhouse developed products and solutions.
  • Analysis of current systems, including network, software, and hardware features to identify errors, risks or concerns.
  • Collaborate with teams and vendors to determine and implement new system features, upgrades, or configurations.
  • Build new solutions to automation operational procedures or address and fix identified issues.
  • Identify and define operational process and tools required to support managed systems.
  • Provide technical training and presentations of managed systems.
  • Participate in and / or coordinate the design and implementation of changes and customer service enhancements.
Job Requirements


Education:


  • Completion of a secondary school diploma.
  • A college or university degree in a technology related field and/or relevant training and experience would be considered an asset
- _ or an acceptable combination of education, experience and training_


Experience:


  • Experience automating support and operational activities.
  • Experience writing technical specifications and operational procedures.
  • Experience writing test plans, test cases and automating testing.
  • Experience working on projects, defining functional and nonfunctional requirements and participated in the design/implementation of technical solutions.
  • Experience with databases, querying data, performing analytical operation on the data and creating reports.
  • Experience configuring operating systems such as Linux and Windows servers.
  • Experience with cloud deployments and services.

Knowledge:

  • Thorough knowledge of monitoring and maintaining systems to ensure interoperability, reliability, security.
  • Knowledge of various database platforms.
  • Knowledge of Change Management and Quality Management processes and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and practices in constantly changing technology environment.

Abilities:

  • Excellent testing skill
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and opinions in area of specialization

  • Establish and communicate common goals and direction for team as required
  • Seek out new avenues for building internal and external relationships
  • Maintain positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the organization
