At EarthDaily Analytics (EDA), we strive to build a more sustainable planet by creating innovative solutions that combine satellite imagery of the Earth, modern software engineering, machine learning, and cloud computing to solve the toughest challenges in agriculture, water management, carbon-capture verification and more.

EDA's signature Earth Observation mission, the EarthDaily Constellation (EC), is currently under construction.

Once operational in mid-2024, the EC will be the most powerful global change detection and change monitoring system ever developed, capable of generating unprecedented predictive analytics and insights.

The EarthDaily Constellation will combine with the EarthPipeline data processing system to provide unprecedented, scientific-grade data of the world every day, positioning EDA to meet the growing needs of diverse industries.


OUR TEAM


Our global, enterprise-wide team represents a variety of business lines and is made up of sales, marketing and support professionals, data scientists, software engineers, project managers and finance, HR, and IT professionals.

Our EDA sales team is nimble and creative, and we are growing in preparation for launching a frontier and disruptive product in EC.

We are currently looking for an experienced Partner Business Manager to join our crew

READY TO LAUNCH?


Reporting to EDA's VP of Sales, the Partner Business Manager's works with EDA's business partners including affiliates, referrals and resellers to uncover mutually beneficial growth opportunities to meet EDA's partnership and sales goals.


The Partner Business Manager contributes to sales growth by assessing and developing partner-qualified leads and partner networks globally and by building appropriate partner incentives and enablement programs.

For regional sales directors, they will further support the management of the partner ecosystem through lead-generation, qualification, closing and retention.

For partners, they will invest extra time and attention to identify a partner's growth goals, understand resource limitations and will assist in responding to business requests and sales meetings quickly.

They will nurture partners by providing them with leads, coaching on EDA product, and updates on sales process - often acting as an extension of the partner team.


PREPARE FOR IMPACT


The Partner Business Manager will be assigned goals for partner-led revenue as well as goals for geographic and strategic reach and continued development and curation of the partner program.

This role is a high-impact position that plays an integral role in the success of the overall field team and the Company.


  • Work with EDA's leadership and Regional Sales Directors to develop and implement a strategy and business plan for the development, curation and enablement of EDA's partner channel
  • Act as a "link" between the internal, direct sales team and EDA's partners
  • Orchestrate and manage gotomarket programs via partner channels across the various global sales regions
  • Collaborate with field sales teams to identify partner synergies/affinities to establish qualified partner leads that add the greatest value to EDA's current customers
  • Identify incremental customer opportunities and assist in current sales pursuits coselling with partners to close sales opportunities
  • Work with EDA's leadership legal counsel on detailed contract terms, appropriate technical governance models and IP protection/sharing principles to maintain leadership and alignment with EDAs partners
  • With a view to form mutuallybeneficial business relationships, ensure the development and curation of channel sales and delivery enablement plans for EDA's partner channel
  • Work directly with marketing team to develop Channel Marketing Program, including enhanced partner education materials, partner enablement, collateral, etc.
  • Work with engineering to scale technological integrations with a focus on people, systems/devices, and data
  • Organize meaningful partner business review meetings, performance data and usage insights to value and track ongoing Partner Channel strategy
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager

YOUR PAST MISSIONS

  • University degree or equivalent in Technical Areas (Remote Sensing, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautic, Physics, Geology, Geography etc.) or Business, Administration or Related Field
  • MBA or equivalent, considered an asset
  • 5+ years' technical sales and strategic advisory experience in a customer, product or partnerfacing role in the Geospatial Industry
  • Must have Earth Observation, Geospatial or similarly technical market with vertical specific expertise (agriculture; commodities; supply chain; forestry; natural resource management)
  • Proven experience developing and working with Partner Programs, and developing sales opportunities through a Partner Channel

YOUR TOOLKIT

  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop a 'helicopter view' to understand/distinguish between requirements
