Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing


As the Consultant, Risk Acquisition Analytics, you will contribute to the profitable growth of the personal lending portfolios by conducting data-driven analyses aimed at improving the performance of risk management strategies/policies.

The primary focus will be on the Unsecured Lending (ULL) portfolios: lines of credit, loans, overdrafts, POS lending and credit cards.

You will work closely with members of the Risk team as well as with other associated business partners.

How You'll Succeed- Analysis - Design and execute data solutions to provide insightful analysis on all existing portfolios and new initiatives.- Insights - Design, schedule and run queries which provide insights into the performance of the assigned portfolios.- Discussions - Represent Retail Risk Management in technical discussions with other Business Partners and Vendors on the transfer of data between parties.- Data - Recommend alternative approaches to achieve business objectives based on data analysis and knowledge of various sources of data.- Collaborate - Work professionally with Colleagues and Business Partners to attain business objectives.

Who You Are- You can demonstrate experience in a retail credit risk management or analytical role.

It is an asset if you have excellent knowledge of SAS, SQL or other tools used for analysis.- You have a degree/diploma.

In Business, Finance, MBA or equivalent. Enrollment in FRM/CFA programs are a definite asset.- You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems, and making sense of information. You're confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.- You love to learn.
