Description

The person who fills this position will be responsible for the administrative duties related to the training needs of P&WC's Engineering sector, as well as participating in the coordination of the Statement Of Work (SOW) internship program, in support of the Internship and Training Manager.


Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Consult with internal instructors to create courses and schedule course offerings in the LMS platform (Workday Learning).
  • Reserve training rooms and create Zoom meetings for virtual courses, when required
  • Create and maintain a new SharePoint page for Engineering training containing links to offered activities and trainingrelated job aids.
  • Create a training newsletter to publicize upcoming training and provide updated training information.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager and content creators to develop new elearning courses and add them to the offerings on Workday Learning.
  • Participate in the revision of postings and the preparation of interview events for the recruitment of student interns each trimester, in support of the SOW team.
  • Partaking in the planning of the onboarding day for new students.
  • Inform students of training requirements and ensure they have been completed.

Required Skills:


  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Written and verbal business communication skills in French and English
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently or as a team with mínimal oversight
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in order to meet deadlines
  • Experience with working with Workday Learning or another LMS platform is considered an asset
  • Experience creating elearnings and using Articulate 360 is considered an asset

Required Education:


  • College or University diploma in Education, Educational Technology, Human Resources or Administration

Note:

This is mostly remote with a bi-weekly on-site presence based on work requirements.

This position may require occasional traveling at academic institutes.

Exceptional work outside normal business hours may be required to attend networking and student events.
