Program Managers to oversee the administrative, fiscal, and clinical activities of the health care provided to injured workers throughout the province.
- As a Program Manager, you'll work alongside a team of health care professionals with varying backgrounds who oversee the delivery of physical and mental health services for workers throughout the province. We leverage our strong, collaborative relationships with health care providers across B.C. to ensure our customers in our Claims and Rehabilitation Services department have the tools they need to get injured workers recovered, healthy, and back to work.

You'll ensure we offer effective and evidence-based access to programs and services to help people recover when they've been injured at work.

- At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
What you'll do
- Manage, maintain, and monitor the clinical quality and financial performance for a network of external providers to ensure the effective delivery of high quality, clientfocused service
- To achieve the above, you'll liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Identify gaps in health care programs and services, research current literature and evidenced based practice, and implement effective solutions including the design and procurement of contracted networks of health care providers
- Provide leadership and direction to assigned staff as well as to internal and external health and rehabilitation clinicians
We're looking for someone who can:
- Work as a management team member to achieve divisional strategic objectives and goals for the delivery of health care services
- Create a supportive working environment by ensuring effective communication, promoting teamwork, providing opportunities for employees' development, and recognizing team members' contributions and achievements
- Proactively identify a problem, gather and analyze relevant information, generate realistic options, and use sound judgement in recommending appropriate solutions
- Be influential and persuade others in attempting to reach resolution of issues
- Communicate clearly and concisely explain, present, and summarize information verbally and in writing
Your background and experience
- A degree in a health care related field such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, counselling, or other area of healthcare; a clinical background in mental health or knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment options is an asset for one of the two positions
- Active registration with your profession's regulatory college and/or association
- A minimum of five years of health care management experience that includes two years of recent, seniorlevel experience overseeing the administration of health care delivery
- We'll consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Successfully meet the legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act to work with children and/or vulnerable adults
- Confirm you're legally entitled to work in Canada
