The Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency ( Centre, a member of VCA Canada, is currently welcoming a full-time DVM Team Lead in the Emergency Department to join our team.
The successful candidate will support and direct the Emergency DVM team professionally and kindly while recognizing the responsibilities involved in responding to client and co-worker questions.
The Emergency DVM Supervisor will also work closely with the hospital's leadership team to promote a positive hospital image and continuously work towards the betterment of the hospital. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work efficiently on your own and with the team.
Schedule: This is a full-time (80 hours over 2 weeks) position with a schedule that can be flexible to meet your individual needs, our Emergency department runs 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Your time would be split 60/40 working within the DVM roster on rotation and doing administrative work. Working approximately 9 DVM shifts and 5 administrative shifts per month.
