- Prior experience in customer service and administrative duties in a veterinary clinic setting
- Prior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology and Cornerstone
- Exceptional client service skills
- Empathetic, nurturing, and positive attitude
- Skilled in prioritizing needs, open to change, and adaptable
- Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
- Attention to detail with above-average time management skills
- Must be flexible and available to work modified shift work (Monday to Thursday 8 am to 6 pm)
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Strong foundation in MS Office and email, phone and in-person etiquette
- Previous veterinary experience or graduate from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferred
