Project Manager - Mississauga, Canada - Lakeside Process Controls Ltd.

What you will be doing in the role of Project Manager:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Effectively initiating, planning, managing changes and executing assigned projects through the entire project cycle
- Reporting and escalating issues, delays and/or critical information to management, as needed
- Outlining the tasks involved in projects, delegating accordingly to individual strengths and capabilities, and following up to ensure completion
- Conducting risk assessments, reporting identified risks to management, and providing recommendations for mitigation of risk
- Addressing questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Scheduling all calls and meetings required for the project and documenting requirements
- Acting as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
Knowledge and skills required for the role:
- CAPM or PMP certification
- 12+ months of direct project management experience
- Experience with Jira and Confluence software
- Knowledge of project management best practices and Agile (scrum) methodologies with a balanced approach to managing scope, delivery, quality, and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Takes initiative and completes deliverables with mínimal supervision
- Must be flexible, proactive and have excellent communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn about the project being developed
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required
- Previous experience as Business Analyst considered an asset
