What is Solutions?

Solutions is the group of experts responsible for extending and customizing JSI's 4Sight platform.

The group consists of Developers, Testers, Managers and Solutions Owners all working towards the one goal of responding quickly to customers' needs for new and exciting mission-critical capabilities.


Solutions is focused on leveraging all of the APIs and extensibility points of the 4Sight platform to meet the customer's needs.

From custom data loaders and reports to dashboards, third-party integrations and even custom apps, the number of tools in the toolbox for Solutions continues to grow.

This means that not only are we enabling JSI's law enforcement and public safety customers to do even more good in the world using 4Sight, but we're also opening doors for JSI's innovative platform to potentially break into other new and exciting markets.

What is the Solutions Owner role?

Solutions Owners are problem solvers, and they have the best tool on the planet to do it: 4Sight.

They work directly with customers to understand their mission-critical needs and figure out how best to leverage the platform to deliver, well, Solutions.

Whether it's configuring a custom set of dashboards to enable better data visualization or figuring out a complex integration with a third-party machine learning capability to enhance the value of the data being brought into 4Sight, Solutions Owners work with all the options they've got to get the job done.

This role reports to the Manager of Solutions

A Solutions Owner has a large number of responsibilities.

Designing, Building and Delivering Solutions & Services

  • Advocate for the customer
  • Perform requirements solicitation and Solution design
  • Daytoday interaction with the developers and QA personnel who are working on your solutions.
  • Close partnership with development managers to ensure your solutions deliverables are well understood and the projects are ontrack.
  • Work with UX team to design solutions that delight.
Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with customers, Technical Support, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management to make customers successful.
  • Delivery of prepared and adhoc presentations and demonstrations to customers, prospective customers and/or partners
  • Partner with Product Management to stay up on all the latest product & platform developments and to provide feedback on product roadmaps and feature development.
  • Occasional travel required to support existing and prospective customer engagements.

Responsibilities:


  • Juggling many projects simultaneously, typically a few small projects and a couple of bigger ones

Requirements:


  • University degree or college diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in software development, software professional services or similar
  • Top notch verbal and written communication skills, like, supergood ones
  • Comfortable working autonomously and juggling many priorities at once
  • Team player that relishes the opportunity to contribute to the success of all those around them
  • Ability to pick up new skills and learn new technologies
  • Creativity and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to attain and maintain a topsecret security clearance
  • Interest in having fun with your job and kicking butt for customers who are making a difference in the world
