CHIEF, BUSINESS APPLICATIONS:

The Corporate Services Branch is looking for a Chief, Business Applications for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as an RÉ-07 ($105,786 to $136,312 per annum).

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:


EDUCATION:
University degree with specialization in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related discipline.


EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of four (4) years experience in each of the following areas:

  • Managing a multidisciplinary team;
  • Managing large IT projects;
  • Modernizing Enterprise System;
  • Deploying business intelligence;
  • Writing IT product and/or services proposals.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Of best practices in project management and system deployment;
  • Of architecture and integration concepts for distributed and cloud systems;
  • Of information management and security;
  • Of business analysis and business process reengineering.

ABILITIES

  • To communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
  • To analyze complex problem, develop creative solutions and make recommendations;
  • To collaborate with partners and stakeholders;

  • Possess or eligible to obtain Secret security clearance;

  • The Open Group Architecture Framework Certification (TOGAF);
  • Agile Certification.
