What you'll be doing

How you'll succeed

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead and execute on key strategic initiatives related to the Personal Banking Ecosystem, delivering on the Personal Banking goals across the retail business. Ownership of competitive overview in support of key projects and strategic initiatives, and benchmarking value in the Canadian Market, and identify emerging crossindustry trends worldwide. Lead or support a variety internal initiatives, often of a highly sensitive and confidential nature, keeping Senior Leadership abreast of relevant information and progress.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Monitoring business and salesforce performance and put action plans in place to close any gaps. Determine the best approach to operationalizing complex concepts within Personal Banking's business activities and culture and provide authoritative recommendations based on forecasts of the alternatives and associated risks.


  • Partner Engagement

  • Engage crossfunctionally within the Personal Bank in order to accomplish business, financial, and strategic objectives. Support our frontline sales leadership by translating strategies to actions.


  • Business Planning

  • Conduct ongoing P&L reviews to understand expense line items and underlying cost drivers. Assess cost areas against business plans and ongoing continuous improvements; create linkages between efficiencies driven by the business and implied reductions in infrastructure and direct operating costs.


  • Client Experience Mentality

  • Recommending programs that contribute to creating an overall positive client experience and improved client engagement.
