Job Summary


The Returns Coordinator reports to the Manager and plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operational requirements for the business.

Returns Coordinators manage the transportation arrangements for RMA requests sent by customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Arrange transportation for Customer returns based on guidelines set by Transportation Manager
  • Verify that all requests have a valid RMA. Advise customer to notify LG if information is missing invalid
  • Consolidate returns by geographical region and carrier to minimize transportation cost
  • Provide RMA information to carriers prior to pick up from shipper
  • Schedule delivery of returns to LG warehouse
  • Reverse logistics operations for good set returns
  • First point of contact for return shipments
  • Provide carriers with BOL and RMA to return freight or ship to as is dealers
  • Maintain spreadsheet with RMAs issued and investigate RMAs older than 30 days to ensure it is closed in a timely manner
  • Provide administrative support in completing all tasks assigned in a timely manner
  • Communicate and if necessary escalate any carrier issues to Manager
  • Additional tasks may be assigned if required.

Requirements:


  • 13 years' experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in a 3rd party logistics environment preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a resourceful selfstarter.
  • Team player skills with demonstrated abilities to interact well with all levels of associates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Works well under pressure.
