Job Description:
As part of the design leadership team at TD, you're a true expert in your field, and are comfortable in a variety of disciplines - information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and product innovation.

You challenge old ways of thinking and put the customer at the center of everything you do. Design thinking and User-Centred Design methodologies are second nature to you. You think critically, work quickly, are available to your designers, and give concise and actionable feedback with rationale.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate teams to deliver quality user experiences
- Innovate experiences to address unmet customer needs
- Ensure high quality and consistent design, deliverables and assets
- Lead the timely delivery of highquality strategy presentations, and experience roadmaps
- Support experience strategy presentations, and experience design roadmaps.
- Provide direction, feedback, critiques, and mentorship to the design team
- Manage and administer design projects, including resourcing and timelines
- Influence and inspire multidisciplinary and cross functional teams
- Build strong relationships with business, project teams, and technical stakeholders
- Identify, manage and mitigate user experience risk
- Attract, recruit and retain top talent
- Educate business partners on the benefits of User-Centred Design and Design Thinking
Requirements:
- A degree in design or a designrelated discipline (industrial design, usercentred design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, humancomputer interaction, etc.)
- A passion for great design and an eagerness to mentor and develop creative talent
- 710 years of design experience, with a minimum of 3 years leading a design team
- Minimum of 2 years mobile design or responsive design experience
- Effective communication & time management / prioritization abilities
- Proficiency in adapting processes to meet project needs
- Strong knowledge of product and service design
- Expert understanding of usercentered design methods and principles
- Ability to articulate design approaches and rationales to colleagues and stakeholders
- Drive to collaborate and foster collaboration
- Selfmotivated, organized and accountable
- Conceptual ideation and visualization skills
- Proficiency at problem solving in a collaborative environment
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to collaborate
- Experience leading creative teams from concept to implementation
- Solid understanding of all creative disciplines (experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, interaction design)
- Highly proficient in UXrelated software packages (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
Must submit a portfolio demonstrating a range of conceptual and UX design abilities, and how you worked with stakeholders and led a team.
