Primary Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Lead's responsibilities will include but are certainly not limited to:

Monitor the daily activities of checkers, loaders, and forklift drivers
Efficiently supervise the loading/unloading of all route trucks, and transports
Maintain and control warehouse inventory
Reconcile any inventory variances
Receive the returns back from the drivers the same day and document the details
Work closely with internal management to execute all planned programs
Train and supervise a staff of warehouse personnel
Direct the daily housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse grounds
Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality
Maintain and supervise warehouse cost control
Manage and model the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
Work directly with the driver team to ensure compliance to account requirements
Monitor daily KPI's and work to resolve short comings
Other duties as assigned; such as assist with continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

13 years Distribution experience
12 years Management experience in a transportation setting/warehouse environment
Forklift experience certification and an excellent safety record
Good PC knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel as well as basic math skills
Selfmotivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with mínimal supervision on a timely basis
Past job performance must reflect dependability, maturity, initiative, personal demeanor, and the ability to exercise sound judgement
Reliable transportation to and from work
Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
Familiar with Rf scanning equipment
Able to stand/walk for periods of time
Clear criminal record check in accordance with Ziing policy

Work schedule:

Monday to Friday 3:30pm12:30am (1 hour break)
