Program Description
As part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, the Facilities Department is seeking a Facilities Administrative Assistant. This position reports to the Manager, Health Information Management, Data Analytics & Facilities


Please note that as this position is a part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, it is therefore dependent on funding

Main responsibilities

The duties are but not limited to:

  • Create an inventory and lifecycle tracking system in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Support Development of Practice and Policy documentation for facilities
  • Work directly with Facilities staff to monitor and track PPE, and supplies.
  • Work with Manager to create an Orientation Guide for each site locations.
  • Work with Facilities to identify and track practices, to create standardized process for all facilities request, including use of the Jira help desk system.
  • Working with facilities create knowledge base articles for Jira system
  • FAC tickets.
  • Learn and practice facilities project management support.

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary with strong computer skills background
  • Good communication, teamwork, writing and resource development skills.
  • Newcomers / refugee youth (Newcomers are defined as having arrived in Canada within the past 5 years)
  • Indigenous youth
  • Visible minorities / racialized youth
  • LGBTQ2 youth
  • Youth with disabilities
  • Youth who have not previously been employed and for whom this would be their first job experience.
