Experienced Powder Coater - Medicine Hat, Canada - Global Fusion Coating Inc.
Description
Duties:
- Inspect finished workpieces to ensure conformance to quality specifications
- Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment according to a predetermined formula
- Operate handheld spray guns to spray paint or coat stationary items or items
- Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment
- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on various objects
- May tend ovens which cure linings/coatings.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and working knowledge of English
- Positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
- An effective team player participating in end of shift clean up to ensure a clean and tidy work area
- Attend and participate in morning meetings; have a good knowledge of all company safety programs procedures, use of workplace PPE and adhere to all of these
- Valid Safety Certifications include CSTS'09/20, First Aid, WHMIS, NACE Certification (an asset) LSE (an asset)
- Ability to read technical instructions
- Must have experience in operating production machinery or equipment may be required.
- May require specialized training and certification, also provided.

- 8 hour shift
