The Crump Group Inc., a large & rapidly growing pet food manufacturer based in Mississauga Ontario is seeking a dynamic, results oriented Brand Manager.

As the Brand manager you are responsible for and empoweredto develop brand strategies, promote brand growth and expansion, implement your brand plans, and using a variety of data to drive volume and profitability.

You will get to define innovation plans, marketing communications, and owned channel experiences for a portfolio of growing brands.


Job description
You will be primarily responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Create an innovation pipeline for a portfolio of on-trend brands.
  • Lead marketing campaigns developed in Canada, that leverage smart consumer insights, and create a compelling brand narrative.
  • Identify how our brands are currently positioned in the market & where to take it next.
  • Develop brand plans with ambitious growth, for a portfolio of brands
  • Identify research needs, and analyze research in order to identify opportunities
  • Create, execute, and manage marketing programs and campaigns
  • Measure and report on success of marketing campaigns
  • Anticipate consumer trends and keep brand up to date
  • Establish and maintain brand budgets

Recipe for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management
  • Proven ability to work crossfunctionally
  • Experience managing a brand across multiple markets
  • Experience managing agencies and developing digital campaigns.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
  • Strategic thinker able to identify longterm opportunities and trends
