About the Opportunity:
Reporting to Health Services Manager, the Clerk B contributes to the effective operation of the nursing unit by acting as the central communication person for the unit.
The Clerk B performs reception, clerical and administrative duties following hospital policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of maturity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade XII plus one year related experience, or graduate of a recognized office administration program
- Previous experience in a similar role an asset
- Medical terminology is an asset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates problemsolving and decision making skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- A skills test may be administered as part of the selection process for this position
Hours:
Permanent Part Time (50%) position; 35 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $21.91 Hourly
