Work Arrangements:

We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately November 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.

You would be responsible for implementing solutions that will improve both the client experience and operational performance.

The Process Redesign Consultant will leverage established process improvement methodologies, including but not limited to Lean Six Sigma to deliver exceptional value for clients and drive cost savings through efficiency gains.

Achieving successful outcomes will require a thorough understanding of client needs, completing root cause analysis, determining data required to validate current state performance, identifying solutions, and finally implementing the recommended solution.

As part of implementation, the Process Redesign Consultant will be responsible for ensuring key controls continue to work as designed, creating documentation, providing training, understanding, and recommending modifications to business rules, modifications to or implementation of new technology.


What you will be doing:


  • Identify, own, and implement initiatives that improve operational processes, sometimes from initial opportunity identification through to sustained benefits realization
  • Manage project scope, schedule, reporting, issue tracking, escalation, and implementation of projects
  • Lead strategic planning through creation of feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis
  • Consult with management on business needs, opportunities, and operational effectiveness, with recommended solutions for process improvements
  • Conduct indepth process analysis and propose how existing processes can be transformed through automation and digitization
  • Develop and implement the change management plan as part of process redesign initiatives
  • Assess, research, analyze, and document client, sponsor, and other stakeholder needs
  • Challenge traditional assumptions to ensure best possible solution is achieved
  • Consult and coordinate with stakeholders to design and map business processes and procedures
  • Define requirements for new or enhanced process changes, ensuring client needs are central to design solutions

What you will bring:


  • Post secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 610 years of experience with process redesign initiatives, using formal process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to explain and visually present complex processes in simple concise manner
  • Strong organization and time management skills and welldeveloped project management skills
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate with representatives from other areas.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to define and resolve complex issues through knowledge and understanding of a variety of analytical tools
  • Ability to see opportunities versus just fixing things that are broken
  • Expert level knowledge of the various stages of the business analysis process, including business requirements, data mapping, screen design, workflows, etc.
  • Industry designation preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification as a minimum, with commitment to work toward Black Belt certification
  • Experience as a Lead Process Consultant on Medium to Large Projects is an asset
