Parking Operations Administrator in the By-Law and Regulatory Services Department, Corporate Services Commission.

Job Summary:Reporting to the Parking Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the office and system administration of the Parking Operations Program.


Job Duties:


  • Office Administration
  • The data entry and processing of penalty notices in accordance with the Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS)
  • Internal and external customer support on penalty notices and the City's parking operations program
  • Preparing reports and summaries related to parking enforcement, permit sales and parking related revenues
  • Principal contact for the Contact Centre by responding to customer complaints and enquires and dispatching of calls to officers
  • Administer monthly overnight parking permits and other parking relates permits
  • Initiate and assist with development and maintenance of bylaws and procedural documents
  • Deliver training to staff
  • Coordinate staffing and assist with operation of the Screening office
  • Coordinate parking enforcement services by private security agencies
  • Preparation of screening schedule, hearing documents and attendance during hearings to provide administrative support when necessary
  • Coordinate work of parttime staff and, participate on Parking Control Management Team
  • System Administration
  • Liaison with vendor for system maintenance and upgrade tasks
  • Ensure accurate and complete handheld and system downloads and troubleshooting; maintain parking system databases

Job Requirements:


  • Community College diploma in municipal law enforcement or a related program
  • Three to five year's related experience in parking operations or administration
  • Working knowledge of the Provincial Offences Act/AMPS and parking offences
  • Experience in development and delivery of training programs; ability to maintain, protect and work with confidential information.
