Stuart Olson is searching for General Foreman, Pipefitter to join us for a new and exciting opportunity at one of our Northen Alberta Sites.

Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrate proactive and visible safety leadership.
Scope all jobs to be performed and advise client of any additional requirements (scaffolding, lifting requirements, risk assessments, specialized permits etc.).
Report all incidents and near misses in a timely manner to Supervisor.
Make recommendations to Supervisor as to employee recognition/discipline.
Ensure all daily/weekly shift documentation is kept to date and forwarded to the appropriate parties.
Track and keep records of work performed.
Be able to supply reporting (verbal or written) regarding progress, work load or other requested information to Supervisor/Manager.
Maintain good cross shift relations (via communication, mutual respect, pass over of documentation, maintenance of office/vehicle housekeeping etc.).

Working Conditions

Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
Working at heights
Working in and around noise and dust
Must be clean shaven
Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steeltoed safety boots,

Qualifications

Journeyman Pipefitter ticket
Valid driver's license
Confined Space
Fall Pro
H2S Alive
CSTS 2020
Presite Drug and Alcohol testing
