CIC offers the Total Care Education System to support students to achieve their goal of getting into a post-secondary institution of their choice.

Our Total Care Education provides services that can support international students to meet their Academic, Social, Emotional and Physical needs.

This position provides support for international students requiring administrative assistance required to study in Canada. It is an administrative role within the Admissions department which requires excellent customer service and time management skills.


Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Prepare, issue, and keep records of conditional and confirmed admission documents
  • Provide and update all departments with the necessary information related to admission regularly
  • Maintain Admission database and filing system for new, current and graduated students
  • Maintain Agents database and filing system for new and current agents
  • Coordinate Airport transportation upon request
  • Coordinate Agents commission payment
  • Provide weekly Application and Letter of Acceptance statistics for Manager's Meeting
  • Track and ensure all students have valid immigration documentation monthly
  • Assist with orientation sessions with parents at the beginning of the semester
  • Issue enrollment confirmation letters to students and invitation letters to parents
  • Coordinate travel arrangements with travel agents
  • Prepare and send out courier packages when necessary
  • Order supplies for Admission and Liaison Department

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary degree/diploma in a related field, or equivalent training and work experience
  • Fluency in Mandarin is an asset
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines
  • Experience working in an international and/or an academic environment could be an asset
  • Knowledge of international travel documents and procedures, as well as Immigration Canada's policies and procedures is an asset

Hours of Work:


  • Monday to Friday: Core working hours
  • Available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary
