JOB SUMMARY:

In this dynamic, fast paced environment, the
Marketing Coordinator - Maternity Leave Coverage months) is responsible for working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver projects on time with a focus on branding and customer service.

This position plays a key role in the implementation and execution of FPI's global digital marketing strategy and acts as the "go-to" team member for managing, creating, and publishing content.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Content Development

  • Take the lead on Content Development by facilitating the development of product information content, consumerfacing articles and blog posts, website content, and social content
  • Support content deployment plans for FPI's digital properties: website, digital brochures, video blogs, etc.
  • Ensure FPI's online content reflects the tone, style and branding consistent with brand image
  • Develop familiarity with web content best practices specific to the home furnishing industry, including content mapping and content strategy
  • Identify opportunities for FPI to expand online reach and further build webtraffic, drive conversions, and improve online marketing funnel
  • Turn 'hallway' and 'managementteam' conversation and 'talking points' into highquality, digestible content

Social Media / Digital Marketing

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute social media campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain FPI's social accounts (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Houzz)
  • Collaborate with content writers to develop and review social media content and content calendar
  • Build and manage FPI's reputation online by adhering to and improving response guidelines and policies
  • Identify opportunities for business and influencer outreach
  • Implement SEO strategies within all social media efforts with the aim to maximize inbound traffic
  • Maintain KPI and analytics tracking, report out on these metrics, including competitive benchmarking
  • Remain up to date with new/emerging technology and social media trends; provide recommendations for implementation/adoption with the aim of keeping FPI's marketing strategy cutting edge

Project Management/Customer Service/Teamwork

  • Support marketing project development under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Assure the completion of assigned Marketing projects accurately, on budget and on time
  • Planning and supporting all head office and branch location meetings including presentation design
  • Assure complete record keeping digitally & hard copy for all projects and programs
  • Respond to general inquiries with a customer service focus
  • Maintain professionalism and act in a manner consistent with FPI mission and guiding principles
  • Follow all Health & Safety programs; actively participate in Health & Safety training with the purpose of gaining knowledge and understanding
  • Contribute to a positive work environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFICATIONS:


Abilities/Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) in English, with a particular emphasis on copywriting and corporate communications
  • Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Knowledge of advertising, copywriting, and media concepts pre
