Des Nedhe Group, and the Magnorum Group (Formerly the Morsky Group). Neetah has grown from its inception to servicing multiple heavy civil projects throughout Saskatchewan and a full time complement of over 75 Employees.

We are seeking
One - (1)
Estimator / Project Manager to support project opportunities with Neetah Construction. This position will be site based (within Saskatchewan), however, the office headquarters is located in Saskatoon, SK.

You will be joining a team of recognized industry experts to help execute work that is critical to our clients and our communities.

Job Summary:

The
Estimator / Project Manager is an integral member of the project team responsible for supporting the Successful Acquisition and execution of Heavy Civil Contracts of varying size and complexity.

The Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for liaising, organizing and assisting in the coordination of Heavy Civil Construction, Water and Sewer Construction, Other Miscellaneous Earth moving project activities.


Scope of Responsibilities:
Will include all project related activities as directed, by including the following responsibilities:

  • Promote and advocate the Company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of costs and cost control for civil projects.
  • Utilize Civil construction knowledge to provide accurate project cost estimates, develop proposals, respond to RFP's and other business development activities.
  • Maintain tracking logs for purchase requisitions, project scope changes, RFI's, change orders.
  • Coordinates the material requisition process and assists in material takeoffs and tracking.
  • Directs work and tracks the progress and quality of work being performed by subcontractors, suppliers and field trades.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
  • Responsible for all elements of project Management Including and issuance of project RFP's, tenders, budgets, cash flows and progress invoicing.

Qualifications:


  • Post-Secondary education in Engineering or Technical Diploma or Journeyperson Certificate from a recognized institution an asset.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • At least
    35 years' experience in Estimating / Project Management role
  • Intuitive grasp of organizational structure in order to manage crossdepartmental and crossdisciplinary resource allocation.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all staff, including technical, professional, and upper management.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management, technology management, and internal controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Programs,
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in Heavy Civil Construction, earthmoving, water and sewer construction or related field a necessity.
  • Willing, and able to work away from home for lengthy periods of time on different projects.
  • Willing, and able to work long hours, Overtime and possible weekend work in various weather conditions and in remote areas.
  • Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
