    Description

    We're seeking a dedicated Womenswear Fashion Designer to join our passionate and motivated team! This role involves collaborating with a dynamic and creative design team, working closely with the Design Director.

    • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough market research to spot upcoming trends, assess runways, and study consumer preferences;
    • Participate in developing collection concept mood boards and color palettes to define the desired aesthetic for each season;
    • Generate original designs and oversee the entire process from initial sketch CAD, techpack, prototype & SMS;
    • Prepare presentation boards and sketch boards for internal review meetings;
    • Establish and manage collection plan boards for internal planning purposes;
    • Collaborate with suppliers and manage product development and costing;
    • Input styles into our ERP system and ensure consistent updates throughout;
    • Attend fittings and communicate feedback & alterations to the factory;
    • Organize and track follow-up lists for sampling;
    • Work with the Marketing team on Product Features for ecommerce;
    • Adhere to the Design & Development calendar to meet all deadlines and milestones.

    Requirements:

    • Fashion Design Diploma in Womenswear
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
    • Proficient in Illustrator
    • Excellent Organizational Skills
    • Resourceful, Ambitious & Diligent
    • Keen Eye for Aesthetics
    • Passionate about Fashion
    • Ability to travel if required
