Senior Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

Our client is looking for several experienced Ruby on Rails Software Engineers who are excited about working side-by-side with designers and product managers, and who like to prototype and build great digital products.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create high-quality, efficient and maintainable Ruby on Rails API applications
• Writing automated tests with RSpec
• Architect, design, and maintain efficient Rails API’s
• Collaborate with other software developers on all aspects of the project
• Build Rails applications with the future in mind, including considerations around long-term maintainability and technical debt
• Be a team player and support fellow team members
• Communicate ideas in an open and supportive environment to help us build the best solutions for the projects we work on

SKILLS

• Ruby on Rails programming experience in a professional environment
• Ability to work independently in an agile environment
• Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, and collaborate with the team
• The resilience to work in a flexible, adaptive environment

NICE-TO-HAVE'S

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines
• Experience with Docker
