Reporting to the Manager Information Systems, the Functional Information Systems Analyst is the front line contact for the MEDITECH registration process, providing support, system maintenance and subject matter expertise to internal clients.

This position is responsible for monitoring quality assurance for all registration activity for the entire organization.
Knowledge of business processes, technologies and applications, and project management methods and techniques;

Strong knowledge of other HCIS applications relevant to YHC including but not limited to: coding and abstracting, PACS, transcription systems, etc.

Good knowledge of multi-discipline, multi-site, and cross-departmental systems/applications and processes;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications;
Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing, presentation skills. Ability to work effectively and interact with all levels of the organization including physicians, senior management, middle management, expert users, and frontline staff, as well as external vendors;
Ability to facilitate expert user training;

The successful applicant is required to have a High School Diploma, completion of Medical Office Administration or Patient Registration Specialist Certificate with (3) years Registration experience preferably in a MEDITECH environment.

An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
