Position and Responsibilities
The following are key responsibilities and duties of the position:

  • Providing accurate cost estimates in response to customer requests
  • Planning, scheduling and executing and monitoring of assigned nuclear fabrication and equipment projects
  • Interacting with clients, translating their needs and requirements into product execution
  • Maintaining and adhering to project budgets
  • Sourcing, installing and commissioning equipment as necessary to meet project requirements
  • Ensuring product compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

  • Safety First Values with demonstrated leadership abilities in recognizing and reducing hazards
  • A minimum of three five years related work experience.
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with multiple stakeholders

Assets:

  • Professional technical designation such as P. Eng. or CIT specializing in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Certified welder
  • Project planning experience
  • Experience using and adhering to management of change processes
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software
