    The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care under the direction of medical practitioners, registered nurses or other health team members.

    Minimum of three (3) years' experience in psychiatric nursing is required.


    • Demonstrates a sound knowledge of the principles of psychiatric nursing.
    • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
    • Satisfactory work performance and attendance record required.
    • well as to the Mission and Vision of the Hospital. verbal communications skills in relation to working with patients across the care continuum.
