    Role overview

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Guidewire Developer with expertise in PolicyCenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, implementing, and maintaining insurance software solutions using the Guidewire platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions that meet business requirements and enhance system performance, reliability, and functionality.

    What you'll do

    · Develop, configure, test, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications according to project timelines and quality standards.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and other developers, to gather functional specifications, identify gaps, and propose optimal technical solutions.

    · Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and guidelines.

    · Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and sprint meetings as required.

    · Ensure all deliverables align with client expectations, industry regulations, and company policies.

    · Troubleshoot production issues, debug errors, and provide quick turnaround time on issue resolution.

    · Stay up to date with new features, updates, and trends related to Guidewire PolicyCenter and share knowledge with the broader development community.

    · Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior developers and contribute to continuous learning within the organization.

    What you bring to the role

    · 5+ years of proven experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter as a developer or consultant.

    · Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SQL, and Web Services (RESTful APIs).

    · Familiarity with Guidewire InsuranceSuite components such as ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and DataHub is desirable.

    · Experience with Agile methodologies, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.

    · Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    · Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to collaborate effectively with remote and distributed teams.
