    About The Role
    The Proposal Manager, Clinical, has responsibilities in liaising negotiations between the company and its business partners, ensuring that the production goals are reflected and benefit from each proposal drafted. Proposal administration will include support of Proposals and budget analysts and the department.

    What You'll Do Here

  • Serve as the Company's liaison to vendors and internal contributors, providing them with requests for budgets (or assumptions), following up as needed, and incorporating into overall proposals. Collaborate with BD Directors/Managers on any proposal and budget discussions and negotiations with the Sponsor/Vendor/Physician.
  • Strategize with BD Director/Manager, Supervisor, key Operations personnel, and other
  • Company's superior offering through writing the proposal while practicing effective, efficient, and accurate proposal generation processes to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Support the writing of text for Proposals demonstrating Company's proposed offering and strategy for delivering the project to the Sponsor.
  • Support the development and maintenance of department-wide templates and content on a regular basis, including RFI responses.
  • Create, review, and revise draft budgets for the review of the Associate Director, Proposals and for inclusion in Proposals - in both the Company's format as well as Sponsor's bid grids; utilize Company's bid grid to show Company's assumptions for all services in a transparent way.
  • Adhere to all interdepartmental processes, including smooth downstream transition of tasks and procedures (e.g. handover to contracts).
  • Completion of RFIs and questionnaires for BD Directors/Managers (as needed).
  • Support the overall health and maintenance of the company's Customer Relationship
  • Management (CRM) tool on an on-going basis.

    • What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Ideally a Bachelor of Science or related field. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu.
    Knowledge of RFP life cycle.
  • Proven ability to successfully communicate company proposal objectives and key characteristics to management and teammates, in writing and oral presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work with teams of varying sizes, technical abilities, and levels of authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze RFPs, prepare outlines, schedules, and proposal templates.
  • Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and recommend strategies for costing and written offerings, including consideration of prior engagements (prior win and loss schemes, unwritten pricing establishments, pricing consistency, etc.);
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other database applications.
