***The production employee is responsible for assisting the machine operators in feeding, packing, cleaning, sorting, transferring, and boxing of products and any other related task as required. The General Helper should be organized and have good time management skills.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Team Lead & Production Supervisor


RESPONSIBILITIES

Including but not limited to:

  • Work in a Kitchen, packing room or cook chill area to assist the operators in their packing, boxing, palletization, skid transfer, cooking, chilling, or other related operational activities as required.
  • Monitor the quality product specs as defined in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Clean work areas sweeping, cleaning all tables and surfaces, racks, and machines.
  • Comply with all applicable procedures and legislation relevant to Freshstone Brands such as food safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP), health & safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Repetitive Heavy Lifting
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required by Team Lead and/or Supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Refrigerated/frozen shipping/storage areas. Intermittent exposure to outdoor conditions
  • Combination of standing/walking/lifting and sitting
  • Occasional stair climbing
