Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide support, direction and coaching to students.
- Provide oneonone resume writing and interview support to the student with respect to technical positions in Pharmaceutical and Food Quality Assurance, Laboratory, Regulatory Affairs and clinical research department.
- Strong understanding of industry's technical and soft skills requirements for roles in QA, Lab, RA and Clinical Research
- Connect with pharma and food industry and identify appropriate partners for student placement.
- Mentor and guide students in their job search and career development Follow AAPS standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements
Participate in longrange planning and budgeting processes.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements:
- Permanent residency and/or Canadian citizenship
- Minimum B.Sc. degree with equivalent experience, M.Sc. is preferred
- Minimum 5 years Canadian working experience in a Pharmaceutical environment
- Experience in relevant scientific and technical principles required for quality function in the pharmaceutical industry
- Must have sound communication and writing skills
- Detail oriented and strong decision making, problem solving capability is required
Prior teaching and/or training experience is an asset
Required experience:
- Regulatory: 5 years
Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
