    Job Description
    Arista Networks is seeking talented Software Test Engineers to contribute to the development of high-quality networking products. You will work closely with our developers to identify and rectify bugs before they impact our customers. Rather than engaging in manual testing, you will focus on leveraging your intelligence and creativity to ensure our products meet customer expectations. Your role involves uncovering complex bugs not easily detected by automated tests, enhancing product quality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize various methods to identify software and hardware bugs
    • Create test plans for validating Arista features and products
    • Develop test network topologies to assess functionality, performance, and scalability
    • Conduct test plans to verify product aspects and validate resolutions
    • Collaborate with the development team to create automated tests and provide testing expertise
    • Participate in software design reviews and contribute customer-centric input
    Qualifications
    • Expertise in developing test methodologies and plans
    • Knowledge in areas such as Ethernet, IP Routing, TCP/IP, and network protocols
    • Experience with test tools like IXIA and Spirent is a plus
    • Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages
    • Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE with 3+ years of experience, Master's degree preferred
    • Excellent communication skills
    • CCIE certification is advantageous
    Salary Information
    The base pay for this role ranges from $95,000 to $145,000, depending on various factors including skills and experience. Arista offers competitive pay based on market standards, in addition to bonuses and equity possibilities. Employees also receive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a Retirement Savings Plan. All information will be handled confidentially in accordance with EEO guidelines.
