Beattie Pet Hospital Ancaster, located in the Meadowlands, is currently searching for a RVT/Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. Our staff is our family, we are looking for someone who meets our values and is driven to help us grow, foster relationships and meet our goals (big or small). We are a Fear Free Clinic and working on our Feline Friendly Certification. Our values follow us into every appointment as we strive to treat our patients, clients, and professional team with the utmost respect and compassion.


The Responsibilities

  • Comfortable with patient care, emergency medicine, and monitoring surgeries
  • Ready to use your skills? We utilize our technicians in every aspect of the clinic, blood and sample collection, in house diagnotics, surgical monitoring, client education and much more
  • Admitting and discharging patients for surgical procedures and diagnostics
  • Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment
  • Willingness to learn more regarding; there is so much more to the industry than playing with puppies and kittens. If you are open to learning, we are happy to teach Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Work requires lifting, carrying and restraining animals (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 40 lbs.). Should be able to lift 40lbs on own.

The Position

  • Fulltime or Parttime (we are flexible)
  • 10 hour shifts (longer shift, more days off)
