We are currently recruiting Concrete Forming and Finishers to join our team. In this position you would execute forming or finishing of concrete flatwork, curbing, walls or foundations.

Responsibilities

Review daily tasks with site supervisor
Proficient in carpentry for the forming of concrete flatwork, curbing, walls or foundations
Well experienced in the process of concrete finishing including hand screed/float finishes
Experience in setting of string line or operation of curb machine an asset
Communicate and work well with team members
Ensure tools and equipment are prepared, cleaned and maintained for daily activities
Proper and accurate use of various small tools
Physical labour to complete forming and concrete finishing including heavy lifting
Ensure daily duties are completed in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations

Requirements:

35 years of similar experience in civil, landscape, earthwork or environmental construction
Valid driver's license and clean abstract
Ability to understand concrete construction processes
Strong work ethic with ability to follow direction
Understanding of carpentry
Experience in concrete finishing
Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
