Job Scope:


  • Commercial banking and loan portfolio
  • Commercial banking function & operations
  • Lending policy update and maintenance
  • Leading and supervising junior commercial banking officers/analysts
  • Statutory reporting (including reports to OSFI)
  • Audit & other examination requests (by internal and external parties)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist Commercial Banking Officers to maintain commercial loan portfolio.
  • Help identifying problem loans, assist in minimizing loan and revenue loss.
  • Passionate to learn and develop in the knowledge and experience of commercial and residential lending.
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Key Qualifications:


  • University degree in business management with focus in finance and accounting.
  • Experience in general banking and/or lending function preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements analysis.
  • Result driven, strong communication and organization skills to facilitate loan administrative function and client coordination.
  • Ability to consult, counsel, and support to clients commercial and personal financial needs.
  • Understanding of relevant Canadian regulatory requirements, commercial lending industry and related products would be an asset.

$36,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
