We are part of the ALPA Lumber Group of companies which has specialized in the manufacturing and supply of building materials for over 65 years.

We are looking for dedicated, self-motivated individuals to join our expanding team_.

**Maintenance Technician

Monday to Friday; 7:00am 5:00pm**
Responsibilities:
Maintain and Repair industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and automated systems.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, technical and mechanical problems and resolve deficiencies in a timely manner to minimize production down time.
Fabrication of customized fixtures, jigs, and tooling.
Work in a team environment as well as independently.
Follow all established company policies regarding Health & Safety (Lock Out/Tag Out, and Fall Arrest).
Participate in continuous improvement projects, and scheduled equipment cleaning routines.
Multitask between equipment breakdowns and other projects.
Responsible for building maintenance and upkeep.
Communicate equipment issues, part requirements with other members of maintenance team.
Required to be on call for multiple shifts and work over time as required.

Qualifications:

Secondary School completion is required
Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certification (433A) is an asset
Experience as an industrial mechanic (At least 2 years)
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience troubleshooting Automated machinery
Experience with fabrication (welding) is an asset
Experience and knowledge of Industrial Safety Protocols (Fall Arrest, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
