    RANDSTAD is recruiting on behalf of a highly esteemed Canadian leader in meat production and manufacturing, specifically for its facility in London, Ontario.

    The Bird Hanger position is situated at Wilton Grove, London, Ontario, presenting an exceptional opportunity within the London Ontario region.

    The schedule will be from 1:15 pm - 9:45 pm - Monday to Friday.

    Flexibility is needed as there can be opportunities for overtime and support on Saturday.

    Responsibilities
    Receiving and unloading crates with live birds
    Hanging and handling of stunned poultry according to humane animal welfare standards
    Performing back-up duties to processing machine
    Rotating with other positions in the department
    Performing any duties deemed necessary according to daily requirements and working overtime when necessary

    Qualifications
    Able to communicate, read and understand English
    Ability to move crates
    Able to stand and walk throughout the shift and work in a fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks
    Able to work in compliance with GMPs, HACCP, Health & Safety and WHMIS requirements
    Ability to work in a wide range of environmental conditions (including cool, warm, wet)
