Job Description:

Seamstress

You are at the heart of the hotel As a Seamstress, you will take ownership of repairing and altering all colleague uniforms as well as guest items upon request.

What you will be doing:

Take ownership of guests' privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service
Maintain and operate an organized and efficient working station
Keeping accurate inventory of all clothing items being repaired
Alter, mend, and modify clothing items upon request from both colleagues and guests
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills include:

Excellent organization skills and time management
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
Sewing skills required
Previous seamstress experience an asset

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40+ lbs
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
