    Exciting Opportunity as a Mobile Software Developer at Moneris

    Are you a talented Mobile Software Developer with expertise in Java and React Native for Android? Join our team in Toronto and work in a hybrid model.

    Reporting to: Manager, Software Development

    What You'll Do:

    • Analyze, design, develop, and enhance solutions to elevate the product. Conduct data analysis to support requirements and implement design concepts efficiently.
    • Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of complex software systems. Build solutions for key business platforms and collaborate with users for optimizations.
    • Take ownership of projects from inception to launch. Mentor junior team members and engage in peer code reviews.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or minimum 6 years of software development experience.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java, React Native (Kotlin is a bonus) for Android development.
    • Proficiency in C/C++ code with the ability to modify code as needed. Experience in SDLC, Agile methodology, and tools like Jira/Confluence.
    • Knowledge of payment systems and merchant business is advantageous.
