FUEL & LUBE TECHNICIAN
We are currently recruiting a Fuel and Lube Technician to join our growing team.

General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely in a mining or civil construction environment following company procedures and policies
- Fuel, grease, and lubricate equipment
- Follow equipment service and maintenance schedules and advise if repair is required
- Service attachments and working tools such as blades, ploughs, winches and side booms
- Clean, lubricate and perform other daily and scheduled routine maintenance work on tools and equipment
- Assist mechanics with equipment adjustments and repairs or replace defective parts, components or systems
- Conduct pre and post operational checks and safety inspections on equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Assist mechanic with completing general work orders including recording parts used by part number and quantity
- Assist mechanic in testing equipment for proper performance
- Accurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs
- Daily 360° inspection of all equipment for operational and safety checks
Requirements:
- Ability to complete mandatory internetbased Orientation and Indoctrination training and certification
- Class 5 Driver's Licence and ability to provide a clean Drivers Abstract
- Operates safely with care and attention to the equipment, the jobsite and the crew
- Strict attention and compliance with equipment cleanliness, maintenance and completing logs
- Willingness to step out of the cab and perform labour tasks if and when required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Good communication skills
- Reliable transportation
Location:
The Elk Gold Project is located approximately 57 km from Merritt, BC. and controlled by Gold Mountain Mining Corp., a BC based exploration and development company.
This is not a camp position, employees provide their own transportation to/from the job site.
