The incumbent takes care of, processes and analyzes files of low to medium complexity which are assigned to it to maximize recovery and minimize loss.

You serve as a technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for your unit's activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You research and analyze processes, information management and data processing.


You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technically complex problems and recommend ways to change or adjust methods and procedures to make them as effective and efficient as possible.

General Information on the Position


Main responsibilities- Take charge, process, analyze and negotiate the files transferred to the recovery team- Support claims advisors as soon as the claim occurs.

Ensure the potential for recovery- Guide the claims advisor on the procedures to be carried out and the expert opinions to perform with regard to the recovery aspect and preserve the possibilities of recourse- Support and advise claims advisors and technical advisors in matters of recovery- Participate occasionally in the processing of files related to catastrophic events, files in series as well as files of cities and municipalities.

Qualifications:


  • College diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience


Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required.
