Description

Part time Food Service Supervisor required for a 160-bed LTC cultural home.

To be responsible for all RAI/MDS, Care Conferences, Health and Safety as well as assisting in the overseeing of meal preparation and supervision of dietary staff.

Vulnerable Screening and membership in the CSNM is essential; TB testing and Covid Vaccination required.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Current Active membership in good standing with Canadian Society Nutrition Management (CSNM).
Demonstrated leadership qualities.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Training in safe food handling, budget control, and therapeutic diets
Working knowledge of the Long-Term Care Home Act and Regulations.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Long Term Care.
Ability to work independently/selfdirected.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrates an ability to problem solve.
Knowledge of computerized longterm care documentation Point Click Care an asset.
Adhere to health, safety and sanitation and IPAC procedures.
Minimum of 30 hours biweekly
