Atlantic Hardchrome is a Nova Scotia based full service company. We provide equipment repair, manufacturing, machining, CNC machining, grinding & plating services in the Industrial, Aerospace, Mobile/Heavy Equipment, Construction, Forestry, Oil & Gas, and Energy sectors.

Machined Part Inspector
Reporting to the Quality/Engineering Supervisor as Machined Part Inspector you will be responsible for:

Random in-process inspection of machined and repaired parts;
Inspection of disassembled strip & survey parts;
Final inspection of machined and repaired parts;
Final testing of assemblies;
Operate coordinate measuring machine (CMM);
Participate in internal Quality System audits to ISO9001 & AS9100;
Manage & maintain calibrated devices and logs;
Assist with root cause analysis on NCR's;
Provide weekly updates to the Quality/Engineering Supervisor;

Potential applicants should have the following skills and experience (not required but considered an asset):

+2 years QA experience using measuring devices to tolerances of.0001";

- +2 years experience in-house calibration of measuring devices to tolerances of.00005";
- +2 years experience with ISO 9001 & AS9100 quality systems;
