Casual summer program instructors are required to assist with all ASPIRE program activities. The ASPIRE
program strives to promote literacy and numeracy skills, along with recreational activities for Kindergarten

  • Grade 5 students. Duties include planning, organizing & leading educational and recreational activities,
assisting with bussing and walking school bus, helping with field trips outside the school setting, and aiding in
breakfast & lunch implementation.




REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-

University Student enrolled in Bachelor of Education

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a planning team
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to interpret situations accurately and act accordingly
  • A positive attitude, outlook, and work ethic
  • Ability to develop good relationships with students on a onetoone basis and in groups
  • Good organizational skills and ability to follow directions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both official languages (English and French) required
for bilingual positions
