Title:
Municipal Mechanical CAD Technologist Co-op - Mississauga

Position Summary:

Hatch is seeking a Municipal Mechanical Engineering Technologist Co-op Student with interest in mechanical engineering design and drafting for a 4-month internship.

Reporting to the Municipal Engineering Management Lead in Infrastructure you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga Head office.

Responsibilities:

Support project managers, project engineers and designers in the preparation of design drawings, cost estimates and other technical information for civil municipal projects
Assist in CAD design of municipal infrastructure including sewer, watermains and roads, and other related work
Coordination with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables
Compilation of design drawings
Preparing design submissions and other technical documents
Assistance of Senior Municipal Engineers and Designers as and when needed

Education and Experience:

Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Technology coop program at an accredited college
Strong CAD skills, and experience with AutoCAD is an asset
Positive team attitude and approach, results oriented and ability to work independently
